The Pahlavi Commemorative Reprint Series
The Culture and History of Iran

Reprint Edition of fifty volumes of rare and important books on all aspects of the culture and history of Iran.
Many of these books, which have been printed in 63 volumes during the last four centuries and the date of the oldest one goes back to 1556, were for years - someindeed for centuries - out of print, due to the fact that they were originally published in such limited copies that they could not be found in many of the world’s public libraries.
It should be mentioned that the main reason for choosing these books, besides the high importance of subjects in some of them, has been their rarity and scarcity, and does not necessarily mean that they are the most important books written about the glorious Iranian culture.
The books in this series were chose with the advice of an International Advisory Committee, and have been reprinted in their original size and colours, without any alteration to the text.
